The scholarship selection process is an important step in ensuring that institutions select potential recipients who fit their criteria. In this study, researchers identified criteria that were relevant in the selection of scholarship recipients, such as the average student report card scores, student positions in student council, student experience, and student achievements. The data obtained from each vendor is converted to a relative scale using normalization techniques. The TOPSIS method was then applied to obtain the relative ranking of each student. In this method, students who have the closest distance to the positive ideal solution (which has the highest score on all criteria) and the farthest distance from the negative ideal solution (which has the lowest score on all criteria) will be selected as the best choice. This research was conducted using a case study on the selection process for FON scholarship recipients at the Telkom Institute of Technology, Purwokerto. The results show that the TOPSIS method provides a consistent and objective rating for each student. Thus, the TOPSIS-based decision-making system can assist management in selecting students who best fit the institution's criteria. In addition, we also conducted a sensitivity analysis to test the reliability of the scholarship recipient selection results by considering the variation in the weight of the criteria. The results show that changing the weight of the criteria can affect ranking, allowing management to consider different preferences with the final result being the highest preference value, namely 0.844901. The excessive focus on testing often comes at the expense of developing more complex higher-order thinking skills. To address this, a paradigm shift in education is needed, where the development of critical reading skills is a top priority. Research increasingly emphasizes the importance of context in developing critical reading skills. Factors such as students' culture, language, and socio-economic background are considered to be factors that influence their ability to read critically. The results of the analysis through network visualization, overlay visualization and density visualization show that many studies focus on how to develop and measure critical reading skills in students. Critical reading is not only applied in the field of literacy, but also in various disciplines such as science, social sciences, and humanities. Research on critical reading has shown significant development in recent years. Emerging trends suggest that critical reading ability is not only an important skill for academic success, but also a highly relevant skill in everyday life.
2025-01-15T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 PROCEEDING AL GHAZALI International Conference https://mail.ojs3.unugha.ac.id/index.php/aicp/article/view/1267 The Role of Counseling Guidance in Improving Students' Emotional Well-being 2025-03-05T14:30:19+07:00 SYIFAUL UMMAH syifaul.ummah@unugha.id Endang Rifani ummah.syifaul@unugha.id Wahyu Nuning Budiarti ummah.syifaul@unugha.id Yuhda Waladi ummah.syifaul@unugha.id
This study discusses the role of counseling guidance media in enhancing the emotional well-being of students at SMA Ya BAKII Kesugihan. The main objective is to compare the performance of a Fuzzy Logic-Embedded Long Short-Term Memory (FL LSTM) model, a Fuzzy Logic-Embedded Random Forest (FL RF), and a Fuzzy Logic-Embedded Support Vector Machine (FL SVM) for predicting traffic congestion levels. A simulated dataset, incorporating features such as traffic volume, vehicle speed, and road occupancy, was used to train and test the models. Results indicated that the FL RF model outperformed both FL LSTM and FL SVM in terms of accuracy, with the highest classification accuracy and lowest misclassification rates observed in the confusion matrix. The FL LSTM model, while effective in capturing temporal dependencies, plateaued in accuracy, while the FL SVM struggled to differentiate between certain congestion levels. The performance of FL RF is attributed to its robustness in handling high-dimensional data and noise, which is crucial for real-world traffic prediction. This study highlights the potential of integrating fuzzy logic with machine learning to handle uncertainty and imprecision in traffic data and suggests that future work could focus on incorporating deep learning techniques for further improvements in accuracy and real-time prediction capabilities.
2025-01-21T19:48:37+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 PROCEEDING AL GHAZALI International Conference https://mail.ojs3.unugha.ac.id/index.php/aicp/article/view/1359 ANALYSIS OF ACCENT AND DIALECT IN THE FILM “YOWIS BEN” 2025-03-05T14:23:17+07:00 Alvy Tri Yulianti alvytry@gmail.com Jimi Alif Awaliyah alvytry@gmail.com Annisa Siska Febrianti alvytry@gmail.com Nur Anifa alvytry@gmail.com Jengger Pangestu alvytry@gmail.com Hastri Firharmawan alvytry@gmail.com
This research uses conversation analysis in the movie "Yowis Ben". This study aims to understand the perceptions of young farmers regarding the sustainability of food farming in South Lampung Regency. The research was conducted from early November 2022 to January 2023. Primary data was collected through interviews with a group of 93 young farmers, assisted by questionnaire completion. Secondary data was obtained from the Lampung Agriculture Office. This research employed descriptive analysis methods. The results show that the perceptions of young farmers toward the sustainability of food farming are mostly categorized as high. This can be seen from internal factors, including education level, gender, and age. The higher the education level, the broader the horizons of young farmers, which increases their interest in farming. Women have a lower interest in farming because they prefer to take care of children and believe that agricultural work can ruin their appearance. Overall, respondents are in the productive age range of 30-35 years and fall into the category of young entrepreneurial farmers. External factors include income, availability of production facilities, and land area. The income of young farmers in South Lampung Regency is categorized as low, due to the limited agricultural land they cultivate. The availability of facilities is categorized as high. Young farmers believe that work in the agricultural sector is quite profitable in the long term and can maintain sustainability and stability in food security.
2025-01-21T20:13:04+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 PROCEEDING AL GHAZALI International Conference https://mail.ojs3.unugha.ac.id/index.php/aicp/article/view/1362 NATIONAL INTRA-SCHOOL STUDENT ORGANIZATION FORUM SCHOLARSHIP ACCEPTANCE WITH THE TOPSIS METHOD 2025-03-05T14:23:09+07:00 Febri Yolanda Silalahi febriysilalahi@student.telkomuniversity.ac.id Nabilla Pramudya Wardhani nabillapramudya@student.telkomuniversity.ac.id Rajendra Nandana Hernanto rajendranandana@student.telkomuniversity.ac.id Muhamad Awiet Wiedanto Prasetyo awiet awietmwp@telkomuniversity.ac.id
This study aims to apply the TOPSIS method as an effective tool in the decision-making system for selecting scholarship recipients.
